Helios Protocol is a top-down arcade roguelike shooter where you pilot an experimental hover tank and survive escalating waves of alien forces.

This public demo represents the current development version of the game, following its original creation for the GitHub Game Off 2025.

Build your playstyle through abilities, power-ups, and progression choices, adapting your strategy after every wave.

Fifteen years after first contact, humanity is still fighting back.

Alien forces known as the TecnoXeno deploy invasions through unstable wormholes across the planet.

To resist the onslaught, scientists create Project Helios — a hybrid hover tank powered by recovered alien technology.

You are the pilot of the prototype.

Push back the invasion.
